The Instructors :
Kathy Kim is a FFF Certified Casting Instructor and a licensed guide. When she is not chasing a fish, you can usually find Kathy glued to her tying bench dressing tempting trout offerings or at a park, constantly working on improving her fly casting. She is passionate about sharing her experience and knowledge about fly fishing, tying and casting with her students, especially women.
Naomi Okamoto a professional fly tier and true artist, finds innovative methods to transfer her skills to others. She is the chief instructor for the Pasadena Casting Club's fly tying classes and demonstrates fly tying techniques throughout the Western United States. Her first love is fly fishing spring creeks, whether in the Eastern Sierra or Montana.
Leigh Ann Swanson grew up in a family of fly fishing enthusiasts. Since Leigh Ann was able to walk, she followed her parents on fly fishing trips, becoming proficient in all aspects of the sport. Leigh Ann spent a summer guiding in Wyoming, and continues to return to Western Wyoming a portion of every summer. She enjoys the challenges, rewards, beautiful locations, and friends that she has made through fly fishing.
